what is this part..is it needed? if not how do you take it out..cut it?
I just yanked really hard and they popped off.
that's the TB heater line. Useless. Try to get them out so you don't hurt yourself on them.

they are only held in with O-rings
just pull , and make sure you stay away from the ends while pulling
