i am personally running an AEM CAI in my 05 cavy with the Ecotec and love it even though some may think its expensive!

got a weapon R dragon intake

but all i use is the aluminum pipe and now a K/N filter

Might help some if you fill out your registry or tell us what kind of car you have. I don't think I have ever seen a pre-made CAI for a 2.4L. That is just an example I'm not saying you have a 2.4. It's just a reason for you to fill your stuff out, it will anyone answer your questions to the best of their ability.

I have a AEM CAI on my 05 Fire. I like the thing, though it was a tad more than i really wanted to spend, and the shop I ordered it from gave me the run around...

Personally, I prefer a WAI just because it's easier to intall and ALOT easier to get to the filter to clean it

like said earlier in this thread, aluminum pipe and filter, its all about name branding and marketing.. i believe that a smooth aluminum pipe with a nice K&N cone flows better than stock intake, BUT i dont believe that making the pipe longer, and bendier to get it to suck up "cold" air from under the bumper gains more than having a short ram intake
