pulley form jtuners

I just bought the pulley from jtuners and i looked around at some places for the belt that was 2 inches smaller. So far all i can find is one 3 inches smaller. Would that have any affect or would it be just fine. Also if possible does any one know what the part number was for the belt if they found one 2 inches smaller

as long as the tensionor pulley and alt. pulley arent touching each other or the belt is too loose...ideal gap between the two pulleys is 1/4 inch

I contacted jtuners and they said to see how the three inch belt goes, they didnt have a part # also. I'll look around some more and hope for the best

i think the belt number should be the same for RK's belt, which they have the part number for the Gates belt on their site

I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.

the belt is different from the RK belt because the ones that RK supplied are for the 2.2 not 2200 sfi. You have to get the shorter one and try to stretch it in, it won't be too tight, just have to get it over the alternator pulley and crank that thing. Or you have to buy a 6 rib and cut off one rib, which I didn't really recommend to do so because i'm afraid that the belt will snap sooner or later since there are some damage done to them.

As stated you can get a 6 rib belt and cut one rib off or get a 4 rib belt like i did.
