I'm currently looking for a new intake mani. for my '05 sunfire. After popping the hood relizing that the stock intake mani. is PLASTIC, I decided It's time to get rid of that @!#$! I'm also looking at a matched throttle body to accompany this intake.

GM claims the manifold flows good up to 300 HP. Even though it may be plastic, it's claimed to be a decent part to keep.
You're only alternative is a 2003+ SAAB 9-3 Intake Manifold.
The Venom one is about $900 if you are really interested in it...

I will have to see some dyno number before even changing it for the saab one..
also the plastic helps keep heat transfer down
people have put 20 psi into the stock plastic also
