here is my question or help needed: I'm doing a 3400 swap, will my shift light still work? if not how do i wire it to make it work again?

If you're doing a 3400 swap, your shift light is the least of your problems....
How about you ask again if you actually get to the point where the new engines runs, and you still haven't figured out the answer...
