alright I just got my RK Sport cold air intake. first thing I notice is that it doesn't have a bung for the air intake temp sensor. i will have to drill a hole (the instuction sheet is a joke) then I notice that there is no way it connects to the throttle body (like they said on the phone) it looks like it would work just fine for the 95-9 2.2 boys but for the 2200 it won't. can someone help me out here...did I get the wrong intake? any 2200 owners have this intake? pics?
thanks
I do believe the one from RK sport that you have just fits on the end of your stock air tubing. Connect it from there. Thats why there is no hole for the sensor. Im not sure if you have to cut it or not, But thats how it fits on there.

that is true^just had mine put in last week
OVERPRICED. buy a prelude intake, and a honda civic SOHC intake. BAM cold air, no more stock piping. Instructions are in the NY J-Bodies Library
I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.
should I still use the 2200 sfi box?
^^ You'll have to with that RK intake.

Good job, you'll get a complete full intake for the money you spent on that RK one.

Its pretty.... where did you get that piping from? Although I understand why because I know there isnt much clearance room did they have anything other than the sharp 90 degree bends?
well I will probably just use the money on rotors and pads as they both are shot...

Is where the pipes are from, and the 90 degree bend gave me no real clearance issue. But yes, they do have other bends, a 40 degree and a 60 degree.

That is what I was saying really that the 90 degree bend helps with the clearance. I asked about other bends because those 90's looked really sharp and was thinking that it may reduce the air flow speed into the throttle body. I could be talking out my ass but it seems as though i have read that on here before. The vibrant racing intake i have now isnt really made to go onto the TB. I have it in there like that right now but would like to change that. So that piping looked nicer than anything else I have seen. Also with the strut bar that I have in there it does lose some clearance.
i say AEM all the way i loove mine
sorry pic is old, engine is claned up alot, but same sexy intake
