I wish to rebuild a motor with some buddies over the winter and I need to know which motors and which years will fit into a 2003 cavalier body. 2003 cavaliers are hard to find in junk yards around here so if I can find a cavalier from another year as well and it fits that will be great as well.

Any motor that came in a 3rd gen J-body will fit in your cavalier. Honestly, you don't need to swap out your motor ECOTEC motor, you can develop tons of power with boost if you build it correctly.
