...ok, my car is in the tranny shop right now (a 96 2.2ohv 5 speed cavi, isuzu tranny), and the techs have already installed my fidanza flywheel, clutch, and t.bearing..but the phantom grip number 910-gold won't fit. I was told by jegs.com that this part was correct for this year..but the techs are telling me it is too wide. does anyone have one installed? (event? spotabee?) does it need to be machined? i need an answer quick, I need my car back...and yes, both I and the techs have called the phantom grip number (area code 561 something), but they have never...ever...picked up their phone. i tried to order a part from them for a week straight, no luck.
please, any help would be appreciated...the shop is calling me again right now.

...thanks, shifted and spotabee. the insert actually came with the exact same pamphlet, but i guess the techs missed the part about grinding it to fit. hopefully, they can get er did, lol...i cant wait to see how it runs afterwards. thanks again!
