I am just wondering if anybody on here got software on cd for a repair manual or can get me some infomation on sunfire 2.2 motor because I need to take off the head and replace the head gasket it.

so you just need R&R instructions for the head? if so ill see what i can get.

Here you go:
I have some pictures, let me know if you want I will email them to you.
1.Relieve fuel system pressure.
2.Disconnect negative battery cable.
3.Remove air cleaner outlet duct assembly.
4.Label and disconnect vacuum lines.
5.Disconnect and tag for identification the electrical connections on the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor, Oxygen Sensor (O2 sensor), IAC, Throttle Position Sensor, MAP sensor, EVAP Canister Purge Solenoid and the fuel injector harness.
6.Remove accelerator control, cruise and TV cables from accelerator control bracket.
7.Remove accelerator control cable bracket.
8.Raise and safely support vehicle.
9.Remove exhaust pipe from exhaust manifold.
10.Drain and recover coolant into a suitable container.
11.Lower vehicle.
12.Remove serpentine drive belt.
13.Remove the alternator.
14.Remove the power steering pump and position aside with lines attached.
15.Remove power steering pump bracket.
16.Install some kind of engine support fixture.
17.Remove the upper motor mount.
18.Remove serpentine drive belt tensioner bracket.
19.Tag and disconnect the spark plug wires.
20.Disconnect EVAP canister purge line, from under manifold.
21.Remove upper hose from coolant outlet.
22.Remove heater hose from coolant outlet.
23.Remove attaching nut holding automatic transaxle filler tube from intake manifold, if equipped.
24.Disconnect fuel lines.
25.Remove valve cover.
Whenever valvetrain components are removed for service, they should be kept in order. They should be installed in the same locations and with the same mating surfaces as when removed.
26.Remove rocker arms and pushrods.
27. Remove cylinder head bolts. Two sizes of bolts are used. Note the location of each. These bolts are called "torque-to-yield." This means that, at assembly, after the bolts are tightened to a specific torque, they are tightened another quarter turn. This stretches the bolts slightly. Therefore, new cylinder head bolts are recommended.
28.Remove cylinder head with both manifolds attached.

not being a ass in saying this.... but....remove the bolts that hold it to the head.....
I took all the bolts off and it still dont come out

have you tapped it with a rubber hammer, slightly...
sometiems the manifold gets stuck to the gasket and the gasket gets stuck to the head...
or perhaps you missed a bolt?
