Well, I got me a 2000 Cavalier Z24 with the 2.4L Twin Cam engine, and the Cat is bad (throwing a code). Inspections is coming up in september, and I was wondering what's some good recommendations for this engine? I'm new to 4 cylinders, as my corsica was a V6 with 2.5" exhaust. Also, I don't want that "ricer" sound that all the hondas have (and very poorly modded Cavaliers have that I've seen driving around here).

If anybody could point me twords some links, or give some recommendations on brand, pipe sizing, cat suggestions, anything, it'll be greatly appreciated!

2.25 pipe, magnaflow makes cats p/n 91035 i believe has a spot for the sensor. mufflers are up to you, alot use flowmaster 40 series, some use dynomax super turbo, but not exactly sure how that one sounds in comparison.

i recomend borla exhaust mufflers and magnaflow cats as he ^^^ explained. definitely use 2.25 piping and make sure it is not crush bent.
