Could i put a Cobalt SS transmission in my Car.. I have a 02 Ecotec Cavalier. 5 Speed is it possiable or can i do it. would everthinf line up since its the same engine an all?
wont work , i was looking at the ss/redline trans , and there is no mounting bosses for the mounting brackets , they use a front and rear bracket instead of frame rail mounts
ok thanks .. yea thats what i was thinkin a SS or redline, they dont work so.... thanks again
It will bolt up to the engine, but not the chassis, as already stated.
15.3 @ 89.97mph, 14's on the way?
For Sale:
Getrag '00-'02 2.4 8000kms $800
so it would work, just need to make custom mounts nothing a little bit of welding couldn't fix.

Yes officer I knew the speed limit was 50
im not sure it would even fit the chassis
its huge
is it the saab 9-3 tranny?
well the same as
LE61T PTE6262 Powered
ive seen the redline trans that karo got , and im not sure if the case size is the same as a saab
its just big with no real places to put the brackets to work for a cav
atleast with out alot of custom fabrication work , plus making sure it clears the rest of the frame and steering
if you need an eco tranny i can get you one for a good price unless you already found one, send me an email if youre interested
Could you swap in the insides of the Redline tranny and put in the Cav tranny?? I am thinking along the lines of the Geo strorm parts I used in my Isuzu tranny
