went to the junkyard today, was looking through grand ams and suck for a 2.3 HO, well i found an intake manifold that was tubular, like when i first glanced at it, it looked like a header, it wasnt, anyone know about these? is it worth grabbin off and usin on my 2.4?
I too have seen that style intake. But have yet to find any info about it. What's the deal? Does it flow better than an HO manifold?

From my readings on the .org I have come to understand it is a L.O manifold... and has the poorest flow characteristics out of all of the 2.3 intake manifolds.
Therefore - not a good mod.

SunfighterGT is correct. This is the lowest flowing manifold available. And yes, it is a LO manifold.

whats the flow like compared to the 2.4L manifold tho? you could always have it extrude honed.

Doesn't the 2.4 manifold flow better than the HO? I have one that I'll give away if anyone wants it. You pay shipping. Hell I'll even throw in the log style LO, and you can have one of each.

Yea it looks cool, but it flows like @!#$. Another thumbs up to GM for cool design but bad flow characteristics. They are good at that aren't they?
