could i buy the black coated headers, sand them down and put some high temp paint on them instead of buying the ceramic coated ones? jus wanna save money where i can you know......

You could, but remember, high temp paint only lasts a year or so.

the ceramic coated pacesetter header's coating only last about a good 4months, then it starts flaking off!

save your money get the black one, sand it down, and use 1500 hi temp paint on it, and color it anyway you want too!

i had my ceramic coated header on for almost a year now. and the coating is still on

I don't believe this either. The old header on my 2.2 OHV was still pretty the day I sold it a year after.

this is a year old pacesetter 4-1 2.2OHV ceramic coated header!

oh yeah, and my ball/socket joint is now leaking! [which i now have to fixed!]
