Hey there guys got a quick question for you guys. I am still a noob so be patient with me. I read the the sticky on the performance but I just want to make sure I understand what I read. Resinators are like a sound filter....or a crossover of sorts for an amp? So the longer the resinator the lower the sound? Here is what I am thinking about getting Pacesetter 4.2.1. header custom 2.25 to a highflow magnaflow cat all custom 2.25 piping back from there with a (length?) resinatore and more than likely a magnaflow muffler.
Don't resonators cause alot of restriction in flow?
no its a cherry bomb in simple talk. just like the crap pipe hanging out the back of your ride

no resonators are straight through like mufflers. theres no restriction.
only the resonators that look like a cheese grater from inside cause restriction.
Screw buying the high-flow cat. just put the resinator in place of it. =)
I think I read a missprint then, I just researched resonators and they are very close to glass packs, even some of the designs were taken from "Cherry Bomb" or "Bumble Bee", they are companies that made glass packs in the 70's - 80's.
RandomGuy thanks for the advice but I live in NYS land of anal laws and inspection stations. After reading the other post in this fourm "Do I Need My Cat?" I think I'll keep it.
