They have a new grind that is supposed to fix that issue.
After seeing what happend with the GP, personally, I wouldn't trust it.

Pretty much they advertised 13 WHP, people got happy and giddy. They bought it, installed it and threw 2 codes. Some even loss power because of the high grind. With the ECOTECs our cams are very "sensitive" with our computer. Too high of a grind will make the computer crap itself and throw CELs.
If you don't want codes and a decent amount of power, go with the stage 1 cams from
jbodyperformance.com (which is what I have).

^^^ agreed. they add about 5WHP and wont throw codes. JBP cams rock.

The new LZM cams are a tri-flow design so you wont see as big of a gain but the computer issues should be minimized as well. I think there are some other design changes as well. There are 3+ cars in BCJ with them, and I dont think anyone has thrown a code yet.
Dave and Clayton are good guys, dont be bad talking them... the old ecotec cams didnt work on most people cars like they did on the first couple test cars. @!#$ breaks when you push the limits, you all should know this. I bought stage 2 cams (same grind as JBP since both JBP and LZM use the same MFR for cams) for my LD9 from them.
My car was the original LZM test car for their original GP grind. All of LZM's problems with the original cams are my car's fault. It never threw any codes with the test cams until a month later, I got 0172 code, idle rich from valve overlap. Didn't affect performance at all, didn't cause timing to be pulled, mixture was at 14.2-14.4 off idle all the way to redline. Now, with much more mods done to the car, it gives the same code a little more frequently, but it goes away after a day or so. Car drives the same with the light on, doesn't make a difference. Anyways, I guess my car's a freak, because I'm one of only a few that NEVER get the misfire CEL and pulled timing. AND I did get 15whp from the cams . So, you can't really blame Dave and Clayton, it's not their fault that nobody else's car liked their original grind.. I'm happy with it though!
