The stock plugs are always best unless you are using forced induction.

Cannon fodder is my daddy.
Not so much the name, but AC delco's are about the only plug people swear by. Heat range is the big thing here. Denso plugs are extreamly high quality and so are NGK's but these "racing" plugs are commonly colder plugs that will carbon up and foul out in a few thousand miles.
the only plugs to avoid are champion, splitfire, and bosch. champ. and splitfire use a rolled thread instead of a cut thread, they tend to cross thread the plug hole, espically if removed on a hot engine, but that goes for about any plug. Bosch are pretty much crap anyway.
CAR GODS MADE THE 1.6 SOHC TO MAKE US 2.2 OHV GUYS FEEL BETTER.
ill agree on the bosch, never tried them myself but ALOT of people on here have and i cant recall ever hearing anything good. i know alot of people with F bodies and none of them have been happy with bosch either. i know a guy who has had his best power/performance with regular autolite plugs but they faded out quickly, he would have to change them monthly to maintain the peformance. basically it seems the simpler plugs work the best on lightly modified engines...i used iriduims on my old 2200 and it did seem a little smoother, but cant say it made any more power.
