forced induction profile cams are different. with an FI cam you want high lift, SHORT duration. J-body performance has the cam I will be using for my boost project.
but you can also get Crane to do custom regrinds based on your own specs.

so just buy blank cams the have them grinded for FI?

basically.

http://www.jbodyperformance.com/new/PartList.php?catId=18&catName=Valvetrain&genName=3rd%20Generation&genId=3

they will have the all motor stage cam profiles and a forced induction profile at the bottom.

biggest thing with forced induction profile is the valve overlap, you don't want a big overlap like N/A cams, thats the biggest factor in N/A vs. FI cam specs

because if you have too long of duration, too much overlap occurs, and boost suddenly isn't working to your favor. cams are a REALLY important thing in a good motor build. because... really, that IS what defines your powerband to the largest extent.

on a naturally aspirated 2200? you can use the stage 1 or stage 2 cam. i have not heard of them throwing codes on the LN2's... some of the LD9 guys have had problems with CEL's and idle. But you shouldn't experience much grief with the stage 1. I'd say just get the stage 2... it's the same price, you might as well.

Nice thread.

Dumb question, but is the cam from JBP a drop in and go part as far as not re programming or flashing the computer or ecu or anything? Thanks.

Just install it and there should be no problems with the ECU if you have the stage 1. Stage 2 cams will throw codes (I'm talking from the ecotec aspect, not sure about the 2.4).
