new air filter?

its time for me to replace the air filter - its getting alittle dirty, and the one that came with the intake isn't very good anyway - so i was wondering where to get a new filter- i did some looking on aplus performance and apexi... just looking for opinions

as you can see it dirty

K&N is what almost everyone is gonna tell you.

but if you want a colored one go down to your local ricer's haven (AKA Autozone) and pick up a pretty blue, red, or chrome one.

k&n...its washable...so you will not have not have to buy another

...id LOVE to get one of those blitz all stainless (I think they call it sus or something like that..)...I kid you NOT, those stainess mesh filters are damn near 200 bux each.

Cant really justify paying quite that much.

I have a stainless mesh filter...........I have no clue where i got it lol. Are they really 200 dollars? lol didnt know I had that much money in a air filter.

I'm going to be different and say check out weapon-r filters. If you want weapon-r products, check out my sponsors website Definedparts.com, he's a weapon-r dealer. I personally have a weapon-r filter and it's pretty good.

K&N's are a bit more expensive but they breath really well and can be cleaned over and over which is nice and as far as looks go... i would rather have a K&N in there then some chrome one or something... to me a nice K&N looks way better then a chrome one.
