What options are out there for replacing the stock manifold?

Custom I think, especially on the speedsters with such little room. I don't think anybody has an aftermarket manifold yet. GM might have one for the drag car though that you could order.

If it's the same as the cavi/sunfire/saturn manifold, then the venom IM would work. And as said many times before the gm performance IM will not fit on any stock eco, without pushing forward the radiator.

GM's intake is like 1000.00 and uses the LS1 TB

Whoa! a speedster. Is the ecotec the same thats in our engines, like all of the parts?
If it is, an intake manifold will be really expensive for what it is. I've seen some companies that sell them, but they are all a custom order. I'm hoping there will be one that is under $1000 in the future....thats just too much for an IM.

The vx220 engine has electronic throttle and the exhaust manifold is different, otherwise they are the same engine.

Due to the small amount of space in the vx220 the GM inlet manifold will not fit.

The weaponR exhaust manifold can be made to fit the vx220 and gives good performance coupled with a Milltek system.

Try vx220 for more tuning ideas.
