Building eco. air intake
Thursday, April 28, 2005 1:20 PM
I think ive seen a few people that have used 2.4l intakes and put at 90' elbow on the end to make them fit onto a ecotec. Im looking to save money, so im leaning toward the intakes on ebay.
Im wondering though, cause a lot of the tubing on the 2.4 intakes made for the 95-02 models dont look long enough to clear around the engine.

Has anyone done this? Im want to get a cheap intake, cause from what i heard the diff. between them and the name brands isnt astonishing.

Any idea how i can do this, and if the ebay intakes can be used?

don't buy an ebay intake for the 2.4. just spend the money on the AEM, it'll work.

I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.
