I have been searching but I dont have the time, which cam is it that can be bought at auto zone for like 90$? Also what part numbers and exact years I am getting this from, I found two different. is it 90-94 cam intake at auto zone or 95 exhaust at the junk yard?

'90-94 LO Exhaust from Autozone. '95 Intake from salvage or gmpartsdirect... I had to reorder the exhaust 3 times before i got the right one. take a pair of calipers with you to measure the lift on the cam lobe, should be .375. They kept trying to give HO cams.

So you have to change the head gasket when you do the cam swap? Doesnt seem worth it to me on this motor I just got, only has 41K. I am going to builf my old one as long as I didnt blow the bearing through the block.

No head gasket involved to change the cams on a 2.4...
