Motor Mount - both,one ?
Sunday, April 24, 2005 3:01 PM
Read quite a few discussion here but am still not sure of what is the best way to go. Have OBX header with no flex pipe. Don't want to break anything but don't want things to rattle like crazy either. Thinking of buying the lower and upper RSM mounts for my 2200. Should I just replace once mount to cut down on the engine flex or replace both. What is the best mount to replace if this is the case so I don't crack the header. Any help is greatly appreciated.

got mine from carcustoms. Rattles go away in like a week or 2...for the ones that don't, just use dynamat under the dash and they magically disappear.

i have an obx 4-2-1 header and both mounts, i've never had any problems. my rattles seem to be far worse because i have an automatic and based on idle range, vibrations seem to be worse at an auto's idle vs manual's idle. but mine don't go away. you're best off with both mounts.

I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.
