ok guys heres the deal. i have this nice, new Stewart Warner shiftlight/tach im trying to install. ive got it totally wired in...except the damn signal wire. i have no clue what to tap. i tried the pink wire on the ignition module connector and then had to go to work so i had to stop. i have tomorrow off and i wanna get this thing finished finally. anyone with any help PLEASE post here ASAP. i need to have this in and functioning soon so i can take some pics for SWP. thanks for your help guys.

anyone know the PPR (pulses per revolution) of the crankshaft so i can get a proper reading? the choices are 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6. THANKS.

Yea I have the same tach Hypsy, and I am pretty sure it didn't work on anything else but the white wire, for the signal by the ignition module.
For the Pulse I think I did 2, because the tach is pre set for 8 cylinder, so just go down with it untill it reaches correct idle.

ok its in and working. i did in fact use the white wire
and the PPR is set to 1. works perfectly...shows me how slow the gauge cluster tach is at reading too. LOL
