I thought i posted this last night.. but i guess i closed it before i finished the post.. lol. But i figure i'd post it again incase it didnt make it.. Has anyone ever thought of the SRT-4 swap? Its got the same 2.4 DOHC that the z24's have.. does anyone know that with minor mods they can make that motor and Intercooler fit? I know you'd have to shave a few inches on the back, near the firewall and make a heat shield to accomodate the turbo, but technicly it should be a direct bolt on shouldnt it? I mean with keeping in mind new motor mounts. Any idea's?

Im not sure if its the same engine, even though its 2.4, its made by dodge, not GM so i doubt its direct bolt on but im no guru

Its not the "same 2.4 the Z24's have"

Its teh same displacement.... end of story.

Want more power? Do a 3.4 or 3.8 swap.

Read the thread you started in the newbies forum.

Bottom line is, there are tons of 2.4 litre engines and they aren't the same. Same displacement, different design.
