Hey all...
Does anyone know of any throttle bodies w/ an idle adjustment screw that will fit on my 97 2.4?
I guess it would have to be a little older....
Thanks!

Thats just the reason I need it....
Im looking at a standalone for the car- the computer won't be controlling it anymore.

most stand alones will control idle
but all the tb's have a set screw that is used as the stop for the throttle
you can up the idle with the screw, the pcm can only close the iac so far, before it hits bottom
Its called SETTING THE BASE IDLE

you set base idle with the iac bottomed out and the throttle at 10% open???
are you going standalone with the holley 950?

I'm not real sure...
I just know my friend says I need a TB w/ an idle adjustment screw because the standalone I am looking at does not control idle...
If its as easy as just putting a valve on the TB- then I might go that route.

what standalone are you looking at? are you trying to save some loot by going with a program for a carb?

don't know. if you can't fine the throttle body you could set the pintle on the IAC to where you need it and unplug the wiring connector. definatly not a total cure for the problem though.
