Hey guys, new poster here but I have been following the site for a while now. But lets get down to business. Im looking into getting this catback system for my car.

If you do can you tell me what it sounds like, how louds it is, and how much more performance I can get out of it. Im looking for a nice sounding exaust with performance as well. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks guys.

its fairly quite inside my cav , but its raspy when cold , and needs a resonator not a big 1though
how big of a reso are you talking, and did it get rid of the poping, and some of the rapyness?
i have it on my ecotec. what motor are do you have? your profile doesnt say. the reason i ask is because ive heard this catback on a 2.4ld9, an ecotec (mine), and a 2.2OHV... sounds good on the 2.4 and ecotec, but its far to raspy and high pitched on the 2.2OHV i heard. (no offense to the person who im talking about, he no doubtedly will see this, lol. i still love your car). I recommend this exhaust HIGHLY if you have the 2.4 or ecotec. high quality, good sounding exhaust with decent gains.
sorry i forgot about the volume of the exhaust. its quiet at low rpms. so id say anything under 3grand or so on your tach its just a quiet rumble. up it to 4 or 5 grand on the rpms and it'll get pretty damn loud. at 5800 i can be louder than a harley.
I have a 2000 2.2/2200. Any other systems you guys would recomment?

i dont hear my exhaust over my engine at those RPM's altough I got engine mounts...

This cat will sound pretty good on a 2.4 or Eco with stock header/cat. If you swap the header and cat, then you will get raspy/loud as hell... But, if you are going for speed, who cares what it sounds like...

I have it on my 2200. Sounds great and a lot of others love it. It's never been "raspy" so to say on my car, although a buddy of mine that had it on his Z was ungodly loud. On inital start up, it was raspy, but after a few minutes it went away. Only other thing I could mention is that I have a lot of backfire, which hell I don't mind. I just know I'm running a lil rich.
