ok...i remember reading something on here a long time ago about a LOW OUTPUT intake....but it looks EXACTLY like the HIGH OUTPUT intake...
now, i recently purchased to "ho looking" intakes...
we micrometered the ports on both of them...on one intake the ports seemed to be around .010 thousanths smaller than the other intakes' ports.
both intakes have different casted on numbers...dont remember what they were though....
im just wondering if there really are 2 DIFFERENT intake sizes that look IDENTICAL on the outside (like the HO log style-cast aluminum)
also, i bought a "LOW OUTPUT" intake manifold...this one is outrageous-it looks like a header...but the ports on this one are MUCH smaller-and differ from size on each port (as the runners are different lengths)
i read a post here where i guy claimed to get like 10whp with THIS intake.....
i would truly like to know (for a good solid N/A-with most every bolt on you can get) which one of these intakes would be the best for my application
ive heard mixed storys and theorys/thoughts on every single one...seen and read dyno #'s for 2 of them (the header style and the HO-for sure, intakes)
ive heard that the HO intake is too big, and the LO header style is perfect...ive never read ANYTHING as i recall about this other "SMALLER HO-LOOKING" intake....
also did all three of them come with the 56mm TB?
thanks for your time.

You got it all wrong. The 87-89tubular Lo intake is a real POS. Throw that in the garbage.
What happend with the 90+ Lo is that some Lo had the Ho manifold. The manifold is still an Ho. The Lo intake is much smaller toward the passenger side while the Ho is pretty much straight underneath.
