Don't ask how i did this cuz i dont even know, but the end of one of the wires broke off the back of the IAT sensor. How much will it effect an emissions test if at all? A mechanic i used to work with said chevy's don't seem to be bothered by bad IAT sensor.....then again he said he was gonna put an intercooler on his N/A bronco, so i dunno what to think

the check engine light will come on , and that alone will cause you to fail emissions

the connector/harness is about 25 bucks from GM so just replace it

dam 25? I figured it would be alot higher than that from the dealer. Time to take a trip to the eastside. Thanks for the info

or get it from a junk yard, be like 2 bucks,

just pull the connector apart and replace the pin. a few cents
