Aeromotive LT-1 FPR fit 2.4
Wednesday, March 30, 2005 4:39 PM
I am looking for a good FPR and doing some searching I havent decided on one yet. I dont want to pay the ridiculous amount that RK is advertising and I want one that has a PSI range of at least up to 90 and is able to have a gauge connected. I have done a full day of searching and came across one that sounds good, the Aeromotive. Does this fit the 2.4 though?

Are you talking about the direct fir P/N 13107 or the in line AFPR P/N 13101? Or what? Let us know we have both in stock.

Is it a direct fit for the 2.4?

yes, however the direct fit does not have a line to run a gauge off of. p/n 13107. The inline one that fits on the return line has a 1/8 npt port for a gauge.

Up to 90 psi........ wow. Why would you want an Adj. FPR that could go that high? If I were you though, pick up the direct fit one, and have a gauge tapped into the fuel rail. Looks alot cleaner.

from what i understand there are 2 styles, 1 style fits one doesnt, the one in the pic below doesnt fit without modification, i used a 9o degree fitting and welded the one in in the fuel rail and threaded the fpr on the other end and its damn close to not fitting, but i believe his name is hybridcav has the other style on his car.....

Wow, I gotta say that you guys have a really nice rides. I like the setup that you have brandon. So tapping the gauge into the rail will still give the same PSI reading as having it on the FPR? Im not sure of any correct way to do something like that, so Im wondering if the inline setup would be the better option. As far as having a 90 psi, I just wanted to have a range to at least 70 psi since some AFPR's will stop at like 50 or less.

My Accel/Hypertec has hit 80psi..... not that I'd ever drive around at that pressure.....

Gauge in the rail, tells you how much pressure you have @ the injectors....

I like the look w/ the gauge in the rail. Whats the best way to tap one in?

just drill and tap the rail for the size of the fitting that is on the gauge that you purchase
