Is it mechanical or electric?

hey bud,

hopefully u went with an electric one... i know they can be a little bit expensive, but they are worth it... much safer.... if it is electric, u will have to splice the sending unit into ur fuel line somewhere and it will work like a charm. i installed the autometer electric gauge on mine and spliced it right before my fuel rail inlet....... i did it that way so i knew how much pressure i was gettting right to the fuel rail......good luck bud.

you need a 3/8" tee, and two compression fittings for either end. sensor goes into the tee on the fuel rail.

to do that you need to disconnect the fuel line from the rail, have a rag handy. then take a small pipe cutter and cut out a section slightly smaller than the tee. fit it all back together and be sure to use teflon tape
