data loggers?

what is everyone using to data log? i have a laptop, and probably everything else i would need. i'm know i'll need to make some sort of data cable, but what program are you using to data log? thanks!

not me. i found a place online that sells em for 30$.... but i could probably make one for cheaper... if i found where to buy the ALDL plug, and could perhaps find a copy of the back of the interface boards.... 80$ though.... ack

i found a cable, but it was 80$ w/o s/h... and i can't really justify that, seeing as how it probably only costed 20-30$ to make. does anyone have schematics for the ALDL to serial convertor?

I don't know which one you will need. I'm guessing it is the 8192 baud interface.
