Hi, wondering if any of you with a magnaflow high flow cat has ahd this problem, Seems like when i start my car there is a rattle coming from my cat , not sure if its something inside, or the heatshield, Im curious if anyone has had any similar problems,

Its usually just the heatshield.

thats what i figured, whats the best way to fix this take the heatshield off or have it welded a lil???

rip it off.

i had that problem too on my cat from the isuzuperformance header set up. I was under there and seen it was halfway off on the top, so i just ripped the rest of the heat sheild off. No bigge

mine started to rattle, wasn't the heat shield..ripped that off. Something inside broke off..?..had to get a new one installed.

if its a loud metallic rattle, its probably the heat shield. Just rip it off. But if it is a quieter high freq. kinda rattle, it could be an exaust leak. get under there and check it out.
