i know it was mentioned before in one of our cam swap posts but i cant find it. for the colored links on the ecotec (blue and red) how are they supposed to line up again? i forget i think it was like red on the exhaust cam gear and blue on the intake cam gear and another red on the crank? i'm swaping back to my original cams so can someone help me remember?

if you have it set to TDC and the cams are around 10 and 2 the colors will line up. Try one color on the crank and if the others dont line up try another color. Just make you can turn the crank so you dont end up like me and bend the valves like me.

o yea, i forgot about that darkstars thanks. yea crackajax i bent my valves the first time but this time will be different...i bent them turning the engine over with a torque wrench not by turning the car on. and i haVe a cam gear tool so will make install a hell of a lot easier.
