Spare tire and jack are worth a good 50 lbs. Seats are 20-25, some carpet, rear deck, probably 125 lbs total. So 12.5hp net gain, or you could keep your interior and buy a 62mm throttle body and get the same gain
Plus your car wouldn't look like you just drove it out of the junk yard.

i weigh 135 pounds and i am 5'8 if i went on a diet i would be ethiopian. the car needs to go on a diet. rear seat, spare and jack are already gone, deciding on whether to take the carper and rear deck lid off.

i helped put on a CF hood a few weeks ago we didn't weigh he hoods but it felt like we lost maybe half the weight vs. OEM. DJcluless cut the spare tire well out a put in a lighter piece sheet metal to cover the hole.

In the end, this all depends on what you want out of the car. If you were building a track-only car then yes, it would be worth it to remove everything you can.
For a daily driven street car like mine though, I'd much prefer it not look like it's been dragged to the ghetto and chopped up and I'd like to be able to carry passengers in the back now and then.
If ALL you care about is how fast it is, then go to town and strip it. Only you can decide whether it's worth the effort though.

delslo, I gutted my cavi, and yes, youll def. feel the butt dyno diff...I removed to spare, jack, all trunk paneling, rear bench, rear plastic paneling, rear deck, and the rear carpet...maybe shaved 120 lbs total...but one thing no one has mentioned yet, is that your stereo is going to sound like SH*T.
had some rockford fosgate and sony xplode upgrades, and I guess the rear deck and backseat muffled (in a good way) the sound...unfortunately, it makes even nice replacement speakers sound like someone is singing into a coffee can. I put back on my rear deck, and the backseats, and now I have a decent sounding stereo again. I guess it all depends if you mind.
Also, just a suggestion...you can save some extra weight off the undercarriage (i.e. heat shields, fender linders, baffling, etc.)...maybe take another 20 lbs off that way, too.
Thought it might help ya...good luck!

I WOULD like to give it a run sometime, geez, I hope I am at least in the high 15s...
