Well I've had the AEM CAI, along with the motor mounts in for about 2 months now and i must say my stock exhaust is starting to sound like @!#$. Mainly at high rpm it's all about the fart can...can't wait for that tax return check so i can get my borla

no the intake sounds good...vibrations from the exhaust make it sound like @!#$ plus i think it's starting to hollow out. also it happens if i just rev it a lil the and let it come down in rpms...it's like a whaaaahh whaaahh whaaaaahhh whaaaaaahhh sound lol
A buddy of mine has a 98 with a "super" muffler/tip deal, and a homemade intake. And it DEF makes that sound when he's getting on/off throttle. It's borderline annoying. Def. get a full exhaust!
yeah i'm getting header, high flow cat and borla exhaust, should take care of it lol just debating whether or not i want a resonator
i just put a PS header on my 2200 and i have CAI and a magnaflow exhaust. When i put the header on and had it welded up it sounded good. BTW i got my resonator cut off like a month before i got my header. When i get on it good and then let it come down it pops but on the way up it sounds really good.
I like the popping sound, but some don't so its all personal preference.

Yeah man, my car pops to, I like it. I guess it's really all the opinion of each individual.

isnt the borla exhaust like $1000?? why in gods name would you even consider paying that for a catback? For a that much your 1/2 of the way to a home brew turbo kit with a custom 3inch exhaust

I've had the Borla on for years now and it has always sounded great. When I got my header I put the resonator on, because it was a little annoying inside the car for me at times and I knew the header would make it worse. Best thing I ever did, with the resonator and header it was much more bearable inside the car, and no popping when off the gas either.
Only the Borla Dual exhaust is $1000.

I say just cut the exhaust off none of this fancy borla stuff --- straight header flows reall well
