As the subject states, using the HO manifold and the stock LD9 throttle body, what did you all use for a throttle cable bracket.
Thanks,
Matt S.

Can someone please post pictures of the situation listed in the subject? It doesn't seem my t/b cables (pedal or cruise) are long enough to reach the t/b with the stock bracket.

Built not bought, check that!
the flange where the throttle body bolts up to, i had that cut and turned and re-welded, so the throttle cables would be on top, while using the stock throttle body...
does that make sence?

Ruen, actually I found a picture of your t/b while I was searching. So you cut the flange off the HO manifold, and rewelded it 90 degrees off?
Argh, I know there must be a way to use the stock bracket, I have a picture of Kane's car with it. I'll post it later day.

I'll be relocating my cruise module to the drivers side strut tower, I hope that this makes the cables long enough so they will reach. You might be able to flip it over to get another couple inches as well, so the throttle cables point towards the drivers side.

Buy stuff from CarCustoms Ebay! Won't be disappointed!
I didn't take out my battery tray and I still have my battery in the same spot, I just used the stock s tube for now. I used the 2.4 bracket as well and it worked great, good luck.

Firebug, got a picture? I think I have it figured out. The shealth on the throttle cable was pulled free of the cable itself, thus reducing the exposed length.
Ron, thought you didn't want a HO manifold? My cruise is in the location you mentioned. Regardless, it doesn't matter. You could mount it right on top of the battery if you wanted, the exposed length is the key factor.
Chris, the bottom rear bolt works fine, I ran a 1/4-20 through and used a nut on the other side. For the top rear bolt I tapped the t/b with a 5/16-18 thread, bolted the bracket through those two. Now I just need to replace the throttle cable and it should work. Email me if need any help.

ron. i think i have the GM s/c cruise stuff that might work with the Ho manifold stuff . Being the t/b is in the same place as it is with the GM s/c.
I will take a look and see if i have that stuff still, as it isnt a use to me.
Im not sure exactly what degree it was turned, but yes it was cut off, and re welded back on.
heres a pic, hopefully that will help
I have other pics, just get ahold of me, ill send them to ya.

You obviousally know you need to reverse the throttle cable and the cruse cable box right? just flip it over, and bolt her back up.
right?
