So, with the plate, you won't get a code? i didn't follow you.,

How does the computer know about the egr? on my car 95, obd1, i didn't see any electrical items indicating that the computer would know. I'll just have a vacumme line to plug, or use maybe for my boost gauge i need to order.
Also, just curious. what are people's opinions on doing this? like, how big is the advantage? i know one con is fuel efficiency, especially around town. (right?)
I looked here, and it looks like there are electrical connections.
I'm thinking i don't need it since i have obd1. maybe its an obd2 emissions thing.

do you have a 2.3? i dont think any 2.'s have an EGR

I have the 95 2.2. My egr has a vacume line coming from the map sensor. no electronics. My car is obd 1 so, you think the computer knows about it? I mean, i'mm find out in a few weeks when i assemble my engine, and head, and get it running again.
