The date and location are finally set!! Its time to start making plans to attend the
2008 GM Lone Star Bash !!!!!! This years bash will be held on April 19th 2008 at the
temple dragway 1/4 mile track( www.templedragway.com ) 11am - 6pm !!!
Last years bash was a HUGE success ! Lets help make this years bash even BETTER!
Current show classes include the following vehicles ........
cobalt,G5,solstice,sky,cavalier,sunfire,ion,HHR,and fiero !!!!
show will aslo include bracket racing,grudge matches,swap meet,and more...
While concession stands Will be open you will still be allowed to bring just about anything you want to the show as far as refreshments..food,soda,beer..all acceptable! just NO glass please!! feel free to bring a cooler and grill with whatever you like !!

Show entry fee with PRE-registration will be $25.00 ..due by april 1st...all registrations recieved after that date will be charged $35.00 ..registration will include 1 car 1 driver..all additional people going to show will be charged $5.00 at the gate(track policy) ..testNtune racing (open all day) will be an additional $10.00...if not entering show and you want to race then you will need only pay 5 at gate and 10 to race..

sweet beans and franks i will be there. my girl should be coming to this time but im not sure. the baby is due this week. so that would make him about 4 months. screw it nothing like your first car show coming into the world. cant wait.
i talked to tom at crete engine depot. he said that he knows of one of the certs has been used so far. they expire the end of the month if anyone hasnt used theres.
also im suppose to remind him in january about the show and he will try to plan on coming to the event depending on other events he has going on.
this time i should be able to bring both cars hopefully.
Sweet its on my birthday. Hopefully I can decide on which type of forced induction I want by then.
I am going to talk to Marty Ladwig about coming out. I don't think he will bring the race car but he may just come out to spectate.
Also I think we should set-up a bracket class.

ive been all threw part assist and you name it trying to find who makes them
btw same one thats onthe cover of the build book

sure I just got back from Japan so once I adjust to the time difference And get settled back in at home and caught up on a few projects left here at the house I want to head up to his shop. and check it out. I might see if my car club wants to go. he said we are alll welcome to come over.

What are the rules for bracket racing? Also does the track have a dyno on site?
well first scott needs to see if the track is capable of running a bracket race event. but it would be based on your test and tune time. I we can do 2 classes. 14.99 and below then have a 15.00 and up class.

they run bracket races at the track all the time...no they do not have a dyno on site..yes they said they would have the "time lights" fixed for this year
..and do you want to make it a 14.99 above or below class? or a power adder and NA class?

yup last year there was about 20-30 in the group that went down from dfw. We meet up in burleson and headed out from there.
