Head Shops??
Thursday, March 15, 2007 3:28 PM
Im in Houston, TX and I was wondering if anyone can refer me to a good head shop, for a quick re-surfacing and port/polish. I've tried the yellow pages...but as y'all know, its no help as to the quality of work the shop gives.

Any suggestions will be appreciated

Thanks!

as long as they have a flow bench its all good.. get the sheet for it and make sure its fine .. the old timer shop is better than a performance shop.. but ok .

I have to agree w/ Jaun on this one. Any old tyme "machine shop" Is going to be less expensive than your modern day "performance" shop. Port and polish and a resurface can be done by any competent shop no matter which style.

http://www.houstonperformance.com/ They do all the machine work for us. They do very good port work. Houston Performance did the port work on our 1999 Mustang Cobra that puts down over 1200hp, the owners twin turbo 2003 Mustang Cobra that put down a little bit over 1,000hp, and many other motors.

275hp & 306tq - 1999 2.2 ohv
13.2 @ 108 mph
-1996 2.4 liter + Turbo + Built motor + Torco + More boost = Lots o' Power
-2000 Mustang GT + 2004 Cobra motor, Whipple 2.3 supercharger,
built rear-end,Dodge Viper spec T56 6 speed, bolt-ons = wheelies at the track!!!!!
