Hey,
I got a reckless driving ticket/court appearance on tuesday. I was wondering if anybody else has gotten one (i know theres some of you) and what your punishment/fines/etc. were for it. The way it stands now I am grounded forever and I can't drive. I'll find out the 14th what else I have.

Depends on what kind of reckless it is
You have basically
Reckless Speeding
Reckless General
Double Reckless (double the reckless limit, or 100 + mph)
usually they take you from your car straight to jail for double reckless....
when i failed to use a turn signal to change lanes, i got reckless general, the judge was a prick and she gave me 25 hrs community service and a $250 fine... and at that only dropped it to Improper Driving....
if you really want to know i'll go look in my book....
however if this is your first appearance.... the judge is probably going to tell you what the possible penalties are and ask how you plead. if you plead guilty, he'll sentence you there, if you plead not guilty, they'll set you up with a new court date.

i got a reckless endangerment.. but i din't have a valid license at the time..... so my consequences would be different....
notice i said consequences... and not punishment... you made a choice, you are awaiting your consequences

I was late for early morning at school and I took the frontage road and there was a semi with about 5 cars behind him and so I decided to pass them all and hit about 80 and I guess (im not too sure) the cop was in the line but it was early in the morning so it was too dark to see him.
O - by the way Ashley, your car is awesome. There seems to be a whole lot more j bodys in Great Falls than here in Billings which is sorta wierd but I guess its cause we have so many people driving Hondas.

Thanks yeah my buddy lives in Billings he has a 4 door civic, kitted, cf hood, 17 inch rims, ect. Pretty nice
