2.4L is studding between 1000-3000rpms

(car is a '97 z24 manual with 200,000km)
At first when i would rev the car and let it idle it would flux up/down 500-1000rpm about 4 times, then it started studdering(and no performance) between 1000-3000rpm. But neither of these faults would happen all the time. I suspected the IAC for the idle fluxing and the TPS for the studdering, so I slapped on a spare throttle body I had...the problems stopped for about 2 weeks. Now it just started up again, yet again not at all times. I haven't pulled the plugs, but i just put new ones in the summer that past. When I get back to work after holidays I'll get some more diagnosic done on this..but for now I just want to know if anyone had similar faults like this. Right now I'm starting to suspect low fuel pressure, ...any ideas??

i am having a similar problem with the same model. When driving, once in a while i will give it gas and it will bog down and have no power then it will kick in and studder until i get the rpms up. My plugs are newer and fuel filter too. Anyone have any ideas for us?

It's really starting to fustrate me being that all my tool are at work to try and solve this for good..but today it's being a prick, yet it's kinda colder than normal. What's the temp. out where you are when you notice it acting up??

Crank sensor maybe.

No I don't see it being a crank sensor at all, if anything maybe a cam sensor. When it studders it acts like it's lacking fuel.
With fuel on mind, I can't think it's the fuel pump or filter for my car rides great in high rpm's.
I think the only way to test a cam sensor for this is with a scan tool for hall effect or inductive readings. Just this problem doesn't happen all the time, so to catch it on a scanner can be hard

O2 Sensor maybe? I had a replaced mine with a Bosch, and had strange idle characteristics similar to what was described. Get an AC Delco one, it might help.

Pull the plugs and check the color...that should clear up if its a fuel prob.

Incase you dont know... (not to say you dont)
Choclatey brown = good
black = too much fuel
white = not enough fuel/ water in fuel.
