Lately it takes forever to defrost the front winshield....I don't feel anything
blowing from the area closest to the bottom of the winshield?...It used to work
like a charm but now it's acting weird. This has been going on for a long while
now...And ice is always on my car ....with this problem...I don't know what to
do. I am not gonna bring it to the stealership either!
when you put it on the front vents douse it still blow good
it doesnt blow from the top of dash...it blows out the vents but not fast
what aboot when you have it set to floor or just the dash vents
I hve the same problem, im not sure what the problem is. It seems to be a pinched cable for the defroster door. I work in the parts department of a GM dealer and my service shop can't tell me what the fix is either, and i'm not paying them to find out.
Lemmie know if you find something!
I believe this was a common problem were the little link on the door lever is slighly broken. The normal fix is a small drilled hole intot eh link and put a differant screw in so it doesnt come off or break off. you would have to take your dash apart to really see it though. If you know how to check vacuum on the HVAC contro panal form behind, make sure your getting vacuum at the orange line. I believe thats the one for the defroster door.
Speed costs... How fast ya wanna go??
