Now whenever i start my car and put it in reverse to back outta the driveway it seems fine but then heres the problem.. when i put it in drive and i start rolling forward the engine Jerks the whole car forward and then starts to run normally... its just that one moment that it happens..when i start driving as soon as i put my foot down to go forward it gives me a jerk bang Head anyone know why it's happening and the cause/soloution Thumbs Up! thankie thankie

edit - this is HOW it should read

any noticeable lights on your dash, ie-ETS Off light, Check Engine Light, or anything else light up wheh driving? have you done or added any aftermarket or changes to your engine lately? check these and get back on here. also rock your engine back and forth, if it moves very much, like noticeable, then perhaps your engine mounts, mostly lower has gone bad and needs replaced. again check all of these and get back on here.

no Lights come on on the Dash and ive not done any mods to the engine in well...ages... go and rock the engine eh... i'll give it a whirl

right check your mounts first it could be possible bad motor mounts but i dont think it would give you that jerking feeling. if it was the mounts you'd hear a clunck from the bay from the engine moving. it sounds like a tranny problem to me. sounds like its slipping and not getting into gear when it should

the engine Moves alot when i start up the car.. lots of rocking but when its off...its fairly hard to move.

hmm just assuming, but if u can slid under your car and if u know your car well enough look for the dog-bone like piece on your passenger side wheel-thats your lower engine mount. if u can look around it and if u see it move alot or areas of it cracked, then u'd need a replacement. if thats still not the cause then check your oil, air filter, air intake (box), trans fluid. how long have u had the car and done the maintenance schedules on it-ie tranny flush, oil change, and what not?

Try better gas.. My car runs like that on regular gas.. Once I started to run super or the highest octane I could find it started to run much smoother.. Try 2 or 3 tanks with some injector cleaner before you make any judgements.. It worked for me ..
