Just did my spark plugs yes there gapped anyway i put the old ones back in that i never had a problem with my car still does the same thing..
at low rpms (idles perfect) it like bogs out hard to describe when i get on the gas below 3k is just goes da da da then takes off.. it like hesitates when im on the gas and in low rpms only anything above 3000 is fine so basically its like take off.. da da da vroom shift.. lol then repeats until 3k no CEL
i dont know wut to think injectors vaccum line i dont know what to check i do run my car low on fuel alot so i dont know if the fuel pump may be going bad? Any comments are apperciated
if you run it low a lot then maybe your fuel filter is getting dirty. also try a different/better gas station. also clean your fuel injectors, just dump some cleaner in.
IDK...if this problem just arose perhaps you damaged one of your wires if you didn't replace those also...even if you did there's a chance one of them could be bad I suppose.
Some sound advice would be to wait till night and check under the hood in the dark...see if your wires are arcing...sounds like you are misfiring due to a bad connection...especially if the situations alleviates as ignition pulse increases.

Mine did the exact same thing, all i did is take off the idi cover, removed the boots, put everything back on, and it ran good, give it a try.
i have something similar, but ive got new boots and plugs.. it also doesnt always happen either, but it seemed to gotten worse when i got motor mounts, or atleast seems like it.
if its at idle as well, check your idle sensor...my 2.4 sputters around and everything and i just put new gm modules on as well as the properly gapped delco's so i went to a gm mechanics house im friends with and he told me to clean the idle sensor with carbon cleaner as well as spray some into the hole it goes to and thats usually the problem. cuz like yours, mine stops sputtering around after i get to 2500-3000rpms as well.

it idles cleanly.. i have took the IDI COVER OFF SEVERAL TIMES.. when i put it back on it also seems to run good for about a day it doesnt do it all the times either it seems like its getting better but then it will do it alot i have no idea what to check it probably cant be the boots since there only a spring but who knows
Hey!! just wonderin if u have solved ur prob? i have the same prob my car idles fine, but when im driving its buckin and studdering at lower rpms ie 4th and 5th are worse than the rest anyway let me know if u figured it out cause it sounds like we have the same sortta prob

I think my problem was clutch chatter at having it at too high of a gear too early, thus why it only happens sometimes, and not others. Im also thinking it might be my O2 sensor (as its really bad when the car's been warm for a while, and ive been hard on it)
Might be speed sensor, but I'd lean towards the throtle position sensor.

mine does the same thing, there's a few thing with my car
part of it is my intake gasket, its leaking around cylinder 3 injector
i gotta check my IAC. i'm thinkin bout gettin my idi cover replaced with all stuff, coils, module, spark distributer and cover ($40)
yea i dont know it first happened right when i changed the plugs.. seems like if i take the idi cover off and put it back on it will run perfect for a day or so and then start doing it again.. im usually low on the rpms to save gas i shift lower.. i dont know if that messed up anything but i def. cant do that anymore of it bogs too much i have to run it over 3k to shift now who knows i still have no idea i even put the old plugs back in still the same problem but not as bad
try seafoaming it, if that dont work, replace your ignition tower (the whit ot black part the spark plug boots are one) get new boots and springs wile your at it. it's all pretty cheap
goto an autoparts store adn ask for it, if u have an Advanced Auto near by, its in the fuel injectors cleaners
it's in a white can, with red letters, nothin fancy
O2 sensor? Mine was acting up, and the CEL gave me an 1133 code, which when i looked up said O2 sensor. My bogging is down, but today when i would start the car up, it would idle wierd for a second or two, then it would be fine, i thought it was strange, not sure whats up. Changed the 02 last night, maybe the PCM hasnt adapted to it yet?
i got my intake gasket, as soon as i replace it ill get back to u and see if it helps n e of your symptoms on my car
