I had my tires installed at CT tonight.. the guys did a last minute job when the store was just closing and they F***ING chipped like 1/2 an inch off my clearcoat from on one of my rims, and nicked 4 other spots on each rim. I'm pissed.

I told them if they were rushed they could do it tomorrow, but they insisted to finish it. Can I complain to CT and have anthing done about it?

Now that my clearcoat is chipped and I have to drive throughout the winter.. the rim is going to deterorate faster. What can I do now? touch up the clear coat on the rim? I have no idea.. i'm just very upset right now.

I'm definitely going too. This such a piss off. They were mint, and now this.

I just came back from looking outside and noticed ANOTHER chip. They scrapped the edge of the rim.. just where salt wants to be. Almost an inch and half in length.

I can't believe this. I have no idea how CT will fix this situation.

tell them you want the rims replaced/repaired. period.

i'll warn you though. they will say (and probably have posted somewhere) that they are not responsible for any damaged obtained while on the property.

This is why most people stay away from that place. Good luck getting anywhere with them. Its pisses me off when people get screwed like that ! Sorry to hear about it.

I asked a tire shop once if they garuantee that they won't damage a wheel if they installed a tire for me. They got all offended and said to take my bussiness elseshere. I mean these guys sell 20" and 24" rims and they didn't have a touchless tire machine. Never went back.
