Anyone know how to replace the door hinge? How much time it takes and the tools I will need to do it.
Also I had to buy the whole hinge when only the bushies are gone, anyone know what other vechiles had the same bushies so I don't have to keep buying hinges?

im pretty sure all 3rd gen jbodies need the full hinge replaced, my old 2nd gen i replaced the pin/bushing, but if you look at the 3rd gens, it just isn't possible. I need to replace teh lower driverside hinge in mine aswell, been procastinating about it for months, from what ive heard the best way to do so i put a jack stand under the door, unbolt the hinge, bolt in the new one without moving anything

You don't need to use a jack stand, you don't even have to open the door. Keep the door shut and latched. Remove the fender, and you will simply be able to unbolt the hinges with no real problems. I don't remember the bolt size, but all you need is a rachet and possibly an extension. You can have a friend hold the door onto the car just to be sure nothing happens. Unbolt the old hinge, and bolt in the new one... no special tools needed.

Man, sounds like these hinges are a common thing. Both mine and the wife's '99 Z's have the drivers side door sag issue and quite a bit of play if I grab the door I can move it up and down quite a bit. Mine actually is starting to rub against the bottom where it meets the sideskirts! Argh!

Don't get lambos... thats what started my whole door problems to begin with. They are a nice addition to a show car, but they were nothing but a pain in the @ss for a daily driver.
