how much oil do you put in the 2.4L twin cam? I only put four and it says its full but all my other cars took 4.5 or 5

4L is enough but I go with 4.4L since I run mobil 1

i put 4.25 into the motor and then fill the oil filter up about half way. someone told me when i first started driving that if you don't put some in the filter its like a dry start. don't know how true/necessary it is, but i've always done it.
