I was working on my sisters 2001 cavy this last weekend changeing the plugs and the starter. When pulling the plugs I noticed that there was liquid collecting by the spark plugs, when i checked by 2002 cavy, i noticed nothing. I was just wondeing if this
(a. means anything is wrong with it
(b. has this happened to anyone else here?
Next question has nothing to do with the Plugs and i just though of it. Has anyone else had to replace there starter? When I took it off, i tired to disconnect the wires, and the termal just broke off the damn thing. I was just wondering if this could be due to the location and how easy it would be to get wet if you take it to a car wash a lot?
the liquid is normal. It's gas. When you shut off the engine, there is always some gas left in the cylinder and the crank doesn't stop as soon as you shut off the engine. So there's a compression stroke and the fuel get on the plugs. It's normal.

just to make sure, the liquid is not formed inside the cylinder, but out side, where the plug and wires are. The liquid does not smell like gas or oil.
