Im getting ready to install a CB radio in my 97' Sunfire SE. I plan on running the cable through the firewall, there is already a place for that. There are 2 wires in the back of the CB, a red and a black. I want to put the power in the fuse box. How would I go about doing this? Any help is appriciated, thanks.
(It may not be the fuse box, the area where the power would go)

i would personally just buy an inline fuse.. and connect it to ur 12v.. and connect the ground to some bare metal to make it real easy..damn i forgot about those old things do alot of people still use those?..lol that would be fun to have
I live near Rt. 13 in Pennsylvania, if anyone knows where that is. There are alot of travlers on that road that have CBs. Me and bunch of people decided one day to buy CBs. Easy way to communicate in teh car since we all live near eachother.

Orrr.... You could get some wire taps at Radio Shack, like I did, and tap into the cigarette lighter wires. With some major repetetive test fitting, I got my CB installed above the bottom consol tray/below HVAC controls. Check out my registry for pics.
I have my PA System/Cop Siren Control box under the HVAC. I wanna try and put the CB above my head on the top. I try both ways, whatever way doesnt leave a mess, ill do.
Thanks
