One of the cables that run from my shift stick to my transmission is broke. now i went to look for a new one and the GM dealer said a new cable cost $200 (dont know for sure, but i think its a set of both cables). Is this a normal price or is it cheaper for me to order one from the states ?

a little overpriced you have buy the whole assembly as one of my cables plastic piece broke when i was installing my b&m shifter. i got the part for 115 but that was with a discount cuz my friend works for mopar(dodge) and they do deals back and worth so ya enough rambling. but i do believe the price without discount was somewhere around 140-150.

so basicly its not overpriced, $200 is acceptable and not worth putting time in looking to much?

200 is a bit on the high side of the average. I got mine (with no discounts) for 165 and that included overnight shipping from Illinois from a GM dealer
